Foundation Program: Eight Steps to Happiness In-depth Study and Practice for Spritual Growth
Starting Januay 19, 2010 the Akshobya Foundation Program begins the study of Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Based on his commentary on the root text Eight Stpes in Training the Mind by Langri Tangpa, students will studay and be inspired by Buddha's most practical and effective teachings for modern day times: compassion, love and wisdom.
Through teachings from the text together with commentary given by Resident Teacher Kelsang Dema, students meditate on essential points and participate in class discussions to deepen their understanding and knowledge of the book.
These classes are for inscription only and are suitable to all students, Buddhist & non-Buddhist and beginners & experienced.
